Inter-university Microelectronics Center (IMEC) is a world-leading independent research center in nanoelectronics and digital technology. IMEC is headquartered in Leuven, Belgium, and also has distributed R&D groups at a number of Flemish universities, in the Netherlands, Taiwan, USA, China, and offices in India and Japan.
Currently in the EPIC project, IMEC is working on Tbps LDPC implementation and 16nm virtual silicon tape out for Polar decoder.
